The third in an annual series of Guitarscapes albums from Cloudland Blue Quartet, following on from the successes of "Disquietmusik" in 2017 and "Disquietmusik II" in 2018.

The album has a duration of just under an hour and a half, while the download-only version includes a further seven and a half hours of bonus material, comprising three alternative versions, "Disquietmusik III (Reversed)", "Disquietmusik III (Half Speed)" and "Disquietmusik III (Half Speed) (Reversed)".
