I take a walk across the park
The sun is out, it isn’t dark
I lie upon the grass, under the blue sky
Down on the ground and I listen to the sound of the fall
I buy some ice cream from the van
Ice cream and chocolate and a Coke from the man
I tidy up before I leave
I walk back to our home as I listen to the sound of the fall
And the garden looks so good
I like the fence you made from those old bits of wood
There’s no traffic driving down our little street
Safe for our kids and I’m listening to the sound of the fall
I have a job that pays me well
It’s not too hard and I bring happiness to all
Bring home the bacon as you look after our home
We can sunbathe out the back
