about

Another favourite for me. I always enjoy singing the lyrics I don’t really understand – even though I wrote them. I used to think this was about someone who had committed some terrible crime being kept in a secure facility, drugged and hallucinating about the past. Listening to it recently though, I had the thought that it might be about someone suffering from Alzheimer’s. Whatever it is, I really like the song and the way all the backing kind of sneaks in without you noticing...
Favourite Line : “I lost you many years ago and I’m sitting on my bed, the machines are everywhere I look now and they’re monitoring my brain, trying to see if I’m insane, the wires are everywhere I look now“
